It seems strange to struggle with loneliness while surrounded by millions of people in a huge metropolis.
God doesn't want you to walk alone. God has designed it so that your purpose is unlocked in connecting to the people he leads you to.
"I don't need you!"
It's understandable to put up protection mechanisms because of previous wounds. But a hyper-individualistic approach can make relationships transactional and undermines the unconditional love we all desire.
"I don't need church!"
We hear you. Being hurt from a previous church can make the most tender person cynical. But your personal growth and wholeness will always be stunted outside the context of community. Not only do you need the church, the church needs you.
